Try Animation…Why Not?
The best distractions come with some redeeming value. Semi-new site goanimate lets you create your own animations, which is a good way to practice another form of storytelling while wasting time online.
You can choose from an array of cheesy settings and even cheesier characters, and it’s pretty easy to insert your story into the timeline, change locations, add music, etc. The best animations are those that don’t try too hard, and feature a cohesive story against a plain background. For those who have never tried animation before, it’s a fun exercise, though I can’t see anybody with actual animation experience wanting to move beyond the homepage. Worth checking out.
